Day 37: When the Bush is Quiet, the Zoo Becomes the Star! 🦘🦒


G’day, adventurers! Day 37 of our Whoop Whoop Walk About tour was a bit of a twist – not much action in the bush, so we decided to switch things up with a visit to Kyabram Zoo. Here’s the scoop on our relaxed but fun-filled day!

1. Bush Life or Bust: We started off with high hopes for spotting wildlife in their natural habitat. But as it turns out, the animals had other plans today – they were either hiding or off enjoying their own secret bush party.



2. Nature’s Pause: With the bush a bit on the quiet side, I took the opportunity to enjoy some serene nature moments. Sometimes, just soaking in the surroundings and having a peaceful snack can be just what the doctor ordered.



3. Kyabram Zoo to the Rescue: When life gives you a quiet bush, head to the zoo! We made our way to Kyabram Zoo, where the wildlife was more than happy to make an appearance. From roaring koalas to playful kangaroo mice, it was a zoo-tiful detour that added a whole new layer of excitement to the day.

4. Zoo Highlights: The kangaroo enclosure was a crowd-pleaser, with everyone getting a chance to feed these hopping cuties. Plus, a close encounter with the cheeky Tasmanian devils had us all in stitches!



5. Wrap-Up: Sometimes the best adventures come from unexpected changes. And today’s zoo visit reminded us that even when the bush is quiet, there’s always a wild time waiting around the corner.
