Victoria Out Skirts from 2006 - 2024

Wild, wide, and downright bonkers, Australia will have you spinning your compass! Whether you're staring at ancient rock art or running from a particularly aggressive wombat, there's always a new story (or survival tip) to be learned.

OUR VISION

Our Story

" That weaves in the unique destinations":

G’day, adventurers!

Strap in, grab your hat, and get ready for the ride of your life with WHOOP WHOOP WALK ABOUT, where we’re not just showing you Australia—we’re giving you the full outback experience with a side of laughs and a sprinkle of mayhem.

Our Journey
We started off on a wild ride when I spent a decade in New Zealand soaking up Māori culture. But, being a true-blue Aussie at heart, I had to come back Down Under to share my undying (and sometimes slightly misguided) love for our Aussie wilderness. From dodging drop bears to deciphering ancient cave paintings, I’ve scoured this land to bring you the crème de la crème of Aussie adventures. And let me tell you, it’s been a bonza ride!

GUIDED TOURS

Aboriginal Cultural Site, nestled at the base of Mt Pilot in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park. This sacred spot is not just a pretty face—it’s got Aboriginal art that tells tales of the Dhudhuroa people and their spirit animals. Follow the circular walking track (easier than a kangaroo hop) and take in the ancient red-ochre paintings of thylacines and other critters. This walk’s so informative, you might leave with more trivia than you started with!

Next stop: Boorooga Scar Tree

Ever wondered why trees sport some serious scars? It’s not just from a bad day; these beauties tell a story. After watching “The Lake of Scars,” I was hooked. We visited Paul Haw’s Yung Balug Aboriginal Artefacts Museum in Boort to get the lowdown on these ancient markings. And let me tell you, Paul’s passion for Aboriginal culture is as infectious as a kangaroo’s bounce. Soak up the history and marvel at the largest collection of scar trees in the world—imagine, some are over 100's of years old!

COBRAM BEACH

Time to cool off at Cobram Beach! This sandy haven along the Murray River is perfect for a day of sun, sand, and the occasional mosquito. Whether you’re keen on a swim, a game of beach cricket, or just relaxing with a BBQ, Thompson’s Beach has you covered. It’s so spacious, you won’t need to worry about accidentally bumping into your neighbour’s sunbaking spot
